Enrollment

Cedar Bluff Preschool is proud to offer a variety of programming for our early learners. Our school offers Voluntary Pre-K (VPK) and Blended Classrooms. Voluntary Pre-K is a grant-funded program for children who are 4 years of age by August 15th of that school year. Blended Classrooms are inclusive blended education rooms for children ages 3-5. In the Blended Classrooms, a select number of typically-developing students can serve as peer models to students with disabilities. For questions about VPK, please reach out by phone at 865-594-1529. For questions about Blended Classrooms, please reach out to phone at 865-594-1247.  If you suspect your child has a disability and would like to consider evaluation, you must first contact the ChildFind office at 865-594-1530.

The preschool application opens each year in March for the upcoming school year. All applications must be completed online. Once applications are reviewed you will receive notification of acceptance if you meet the criteria.

Once you have been accepted into one of the above programs, then your next step will be to enroll at your child's zone school. You will need to stop by the school office to complete an enrollment packet and provide the following documents:

Proof of Birth: Government-issued Birth Certificate

  • Immunization Records: The student’s Tennessee Department of Health Immunization Certificate (shot record signed by the child’s physician or county health department). Visit the Knox County Schools Immunization page for more details.
  • Recent Physical Examination: Proof of a physical exam within 30 days of enrollment
  • Proof of Residence: One of the following—gas, water, or electric bill. If the utility bill and/or lease agreement is in the name of someone other than the parent/guardian, that individual must provide the utility bill and/or lease agreement, along with a notarized letter confirming that the parent/guardian and children reside at the address.
